Last week Wooldiaries put a pic up on Instagram saying that she was going to have a #sockblanketmadness It’s just a bit of fun to encourage people who are making blankets that have modular parts to it to pick it up and do a few more squares. Due to the nature of these types of blankets they are usually long term projects so can spend some time in time out. For this challenge you have to count how many squares you have on the 14th August, 2015 and at the end of the week you count how many squares you have done in that week. As Wooldiaries says… the number of squares you make in the week.. don’t make her do math 😉
For this challenge I am adding squares to my sock yarn blanket. I started it in February and even though I have spent ages making squares it is still looks smallish. But I was very surprised when I counted and I had done 119 squares.
In 2 days I have added 3 more squares… Lets see how I go at the end of the week.
