Sometimes you stumble across the best things in the most unusual places.
On the school hoidays we were lucky enough to get away for a short break, and thanks to my awesome outlaws a child free night. The outlaws live up in the Wimmera so Mr Happy booked us a nights accomodation at a lovely Bed and Breakfast in Pomonal at the foot of the Grampians. Check out Welch’s on Wildflower for some wonderful, friendly accommodation. The owners were lovely people who made you feel so welcome. And the breakfast was awesome.
For those who don’t know Pomonal is a small town with approximately 350 people living there (Wikipedia).
From Pomonal its a 10 minute drive to Halls Gap, where we spent the afternoon looking around.
While it probably appealed more to me than Mr Happy I just loved the yarn bombing at the Pomonal General Store. It was surprising given how small the town is and just gorgeous.
