The Little Miss has requested that I make her a blanket. A while ago I was given a big bag of yarn from a friend so she had a look and chose the colors that she wanted out of it. I chose a simple corner to corner design, using Mikey’s YouTube tutorial.
This is the current progress.
I have also been practicing on my drop spindle and this is how its going. I had an aha moment, about half way through this with drafting but still not using it correctly.

A friend at work showed me a pic of a outfit inspired by Minnie Mouse and asked if I could make it. I purchased a pattern from Bizee B Boutique. Here is the final product. It turned out ok but not 100% happy with it although my friend loved it.
On my last post about what was on my hook I had just started making my Hitchhiker Shawl (details in previous post) and I finished that in record time.
Another NAP from that post has also been completed and I absolutely love. While at Bedigo this year I got several skeins of wool from Candy Apple Lane. Little Miss chose the colorway that she wanted and I made her a hat. The pattern was another one I found on Ravelry. It’s called the Brass Tacks Hat by Ash Kearns. I love the way the colors striped. She loves it too
