Cranbourne Sheep and Woolcraft Day

This Sunday sees the Cranbourne Sheep and Woolcraft day take place again. It is hosted by Black & Coloured Sheep Breeders Association of Australia (Vic) Inc. South-East Region. While it is nowhere as big as Bendigo it is a show I love to go to.

It has an amazing atmosphere where you can chat and talk to every one there. Stall holders and demonstrators are more than happy to share their wealth of information. Last year they had a spin in where spinners bought in their wheels to spin on.

The hall is jam packed full of all things fibre related and is well worth a look. I remember walking in last year thinking this won’t take long but ended up leaving nearly 3 hours later.

It is held in the Cranbourne Public Hall and runs from 9:30 – 3pm. There is a $5 entrance fee and lots of activities to look at. The Little Miss is looking forward to checking out the petting zoo and talking to her knitting lady friends she made at Bendigo.
