This weekend is the Australian Sheep and Wool show and I am so excited!! This show is held every year and showcases our top wool growers, fashion and fibre.
Why am I excited? Because I am heading up there tomorrow!
For the last 12 months I have been sitting here in envy listening to others stories about what a great weekend it is. Mr Happy had said that I could go but I was a little wary about driving up by myself. After checking out the Show’s website I suggested that we all head up together. It’s not just yarnie goodness.

- Sheep Dog trials
- Women of Wool
- Photography competition.
Not only do we get to check it out but we also get to catch up with the wonderful Fifikins. She is the dyer behind the gorgeous Solar Flair Fibres and the Down Under Yarn Podcast.
The outlaws may also be meeting us there which would be great (I can hear Pops groaning as I type ;))
So yeah I am so very excited.
