This is the song that never ends. It goes on and on my friend…… Just when I thought that the blanket I was making was never going to finish. I finished it. I just have to deliver it to the recipient 🙂
With the blanket out of the way I have quite a few new things on the go and its so much fun swapping around which project that I am working on.
So without further ado here is my work this week.
FO’s
Here is the North Melbourne Blanket finally finished. In case you missed the original post it is loosely based on The Granny Stripe blanket off Attic24’s blog and was done in DK acrylic on a 5mm hook. It is done for my bestie’s son who is a mad North Melbourne supporter (lucky I like him 😉 )
Letting the footy theme continue I finally finished the beanie for my nephew in what I hope are the correct colors for the Roosters.

The first thing I did when I didn’t have any major projects on was to cast on my Hitchhiker Shawl. It’s a pattern that I have been wanting to make for a while. It’s a pattern that has been doing the rounds for a while. It’s a paid for pattern by Martina Behm and you can find it on Ravelry. I am using wool that I picked up from a craft show earlier this year (no not Bendigo), Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball. I am not sure of the colorway as I can’t find the little card that was attached to it.
Here are some progress shots. Mainly because I love how the colors change in it.
I have made 4/30 squares for the kids to sew together at kinder to yarn bomb the tree there. (Not pictured)
NEEDLE ADJACENT.
The Little Miss has picked out the yarn that she would like me to make her a new Beanie in. It is the Cherry Blossom colorway from Candy Apple Lane. Now to find the perfect pattern. If you have any suggestions feel free to share them 🙂
Still thinking of making an Amish Puzzle Ball
And still have the Hermoine Socks in my queue too.
That’s all from me this week, whatever craft you do enjoy!
