In our family there is a running joke that to win a prize in a raffle or competition that we have to put The Little Miss’s name on the entry. And given the number of prizes she has won in her life, it’s been a smart move.
Now because she isn’t a Ravelry Member she can’t enter the competitions there so it’s all up to me. And my usual streak of luck has continued. That is to say, no luck… until recently. I won this gift pack in a competition that the lovely Tanyamarie gave away for her 1st Podiversary.
For those who don’t know her Tanyamarie is the host of The Sampler Girl podcast. Her podcasts are a combination of audio and video. I love looking at what she is making or has been up to. She is one of the friendliest people and always has a great story to tell. She is also a designer and has some lovely patterns for sale on Ravelry. I am waiting for my knitting skills to catch up so I can knit her Anne’s Imagination Cowl. It’s a gorgeous sampler cowl inspired by Anne of Green Gables (One of my favourite books). You can check out her blog here.
Included in the Prize pack was a skein of Socks that Rock Yarn by Blue Moon Fiber Arts, some Jane Austin Notelet cards, Jane Austin Bookmark and a Jane Austin cloth tote bag. As you can see below they are just gorgeous.
Thanks again to The Sampler Girl podcast
